Weddings are
like creating masterpieces; they are a work of art to Tawana. Each couple represents diverse and unique ideas and
as your coordinator, she aims to see your vision and bring it to
life.
She is a
native Missourian that has a natural gift for event
execution. While at the University of Missouri -
Columbia, she studied Accounting & Information
Systems. After graduating in May 2002 with a Master's in
Accounting Information Systems, Tawana migrated to Chicago and
it was there where she pursued her dream and became a Wedding
Consultant with the Wedding Coordinating ministry at Willow
Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois.
After completing an apprenticeship of 2 months, she began
planning and coordinating weddings on her own.
To date, she
has planned and coordinated several weddings both in Missouri
and Illinois. Her financial background and experience in
the public accounting sector has provided her with the
opportunity to work with clients of diverse backgrounds.
She has the expertise and experience in planning large and
small weddings as well as multicultural weddings.
With a
creative vision, impeccable attention to detail, fabulous
organizational skills, she loves planning weddings and truly
enjoys working with people. Her goal is to ensure that
your wedding day is stress free and she aims to ensure that
you are a guest at your own wedding!!
